SOV are organising a ‘Convoy of Protest’. We are asking villagers to come to Longueville Hall – Whaddon Road at Noon. The idea is we drive in convoy slowly & safely through N/L and other local villages to demonstrate what would be a daily traffic problem, should the development at Salden Chase be allowed to flourish. However, this is a fun event with a message, so bring along very noisy children or moaning grandmas, give them a whistle and place them in a legal mode of transport. Please pre-register your entry below or take the Newsletter slip to the post office collection box. We can then allocate your place rather than waiting in a queue. The event is due to leave Newton Longville at 1.30pm and will return approximately 2 hours later. Your support will be appreciated, a sign for your vehicle will be provided on the day and smile, we should get press coverage. You do not need to live in Newton Longville to protest, call your friends and relations to help! The more vehicles the better any tractors, lorries etc. very welcome.
